Weavit (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website builder platform at weavit.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

Site Content: The websites you build are stored as structured data (JSON documents) in our database. This includes text, layout configurations, and references to uploaded images.

Uploaded Images: Photos and images you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage. We store the file, its name, content type, and size.

RSVP & Form Submissions: When visitors submit forms on your published sites, we store the form data (names, responses, etc.) associated with your site.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription tier, but we never see or store your credit card number, bank account, or other financial details.

Usage Data: With your consent, we collect anonymized usage analytics (page views, performance metrics, errors) via Grafana Faro. We may also use Google Analytics or similar services in the future, subject to your cookie consent preferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Weavit service
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To serve your published websites to visitors
• To improve our service through anonymized analytics (with your consent)

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored using the following infrastructure:

• Database: Fly.io Postgres (US East region) — account data, site content, RSVP submissions
• Image Storage: Cloudflare R2 — uploaded photos and media
• Hosting: Fly.io (US East region) — application servers
• DNS & CDN: Cloudflare — traffic routing, SSL, and caching

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, image storage (Cloudflare Privacy Policy)
• Grafana Labs — usage analytics, with your consent (Grafana Privacy Policy)
• Fly.io — application and database hosting (Fly.io Privacy Policy)

In the future, we may add additional analytics or advertising services. These will be subject to your cookie consent preferences.

9. Children's Privacy

Weavit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
